Katerin Riadi (b. 1990)—Monksters—is a self-taught artist born and raised in Indonesia. Having spent her childhood in Jogjakarta and Jakarta, she decided to move to Bali to slow down and nurture her creative pursuit. Prior to drawing, she studied and worked as a professional photographer.
In canvas, she pours out her ideals. Her child-like painting is more or less influenced by her sense of humor, her travel journals, and her way to process traumas.
